I highly recommend Jill Freestone Coaching. I was struggling with negative thoughts “spinning in my head.” I achieved greater peace of mind which felt so good after suffering with the same issues for so long. I learned how to generate positive emotion and take action by changing my thinking. It was so helpful. I feel more in control of myself now.
—Dayle, PsyD
It’s still a process, but I don’t feel hopeless and weighed down anymore.
Coaching is like having another person on your parenting team. This has changed how I feel about (and react to) my children’s challenges. I am even more amazed as I see my kids use the tools they have learned to bravely face and regain control of high-anxiety scenarios.
—Daphne
After working with Jill, my daughter left for college MUCH more confident that she has ever been in her life.
I would highly recommend Jill for any teenager who is willing to start to look introspectively so they can start creating a healthy path for their life.
—Tera
Jill has helped me set goals and gave me the skills to reach them.
Before I started life coaching, I felt like there was nothing I could do about my anxiety.
I always end our sessions feeling like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders and I have new goals and a feeling of hope.

Life Coaching FAQs
A life coach is a wellness professional who helps people make progress in their lives. A life coach gives you personalized support, mentoring and guidance to help you overcome challenges and find greater fulfillment. Jill is a certified life coach which means she is professionally trained to help you, to protect your privacy, and to recommend therapy if that is appropriate.
Life coaching is for anybody who wants personalized help in building a happier and more meaningful life. Life coaching is also beneficial to those dealing with transitions such as changing schools, navigating a new career, or simple moving through adolescence. Life coaches often focus on specific areas including weight loss, addiction and sobriety, business, dating, family life, financial, life skills, mental health, spirituality, and sports coaching.
Jill’s specific focus is on adults and teenagers whose peace of mind is compromised by overwhelming thoughts and emotions that result in life-changing and happiness-threatening conditions such as anxiety, compulsiveness, blame, anger, or scrupulosity. If you are able to work or attend school but your happiness is severely affected by anxiety, stress or negative thinking, life coaching can bring healing.
Jill’s mission is to compassionately help people see new approaches and recognize personal truths so every person can fix broken relationships, and end unnecessary mental and emotional suffering.
Therapists have a degree and are licensed mental health professionals. They must follow a specific code of ethics and must adhere to professional regulations regarding confidentiality and ongoing training.
Life coaching is NOT for those whose condition creates an immediate threat to their own life or physical safety, or creates an unsafe physical environment for others. Coaching is NOT for those with psychological disorders such as clinical depression, substance abuse, eating disorders, or any physical or emotional abuse. These individuals should find appropriate mental and medical care from licensed medical professionals.
If you or a loved one are struggling with a mental health condition, contact the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) National Helpline at 1-800-662-4357 for information on support and treatment facilities in your area.
The right life coach can have an invaluable impact on your quality of life. Not all life coaches have the same training, so look for one that is certified through a respected program (such as the Life Coach School or other similar programs.) Jill is a certified life coach through the Life Coach School.Â
Not all life coaches take the same approach to help you solve your concerns. What you get out of coaching may depend a lot on your relationship to your coach. Look for a coach that is well-suited to working with your personality and your approach to solving problems. Look for a coach who offers a free no-obligation consultation call. Take advantage of that call to ask questions and find out if the coach is someone you believe you (and especially your child) can trust and work well with. As a parent, recognize that coaching is like having another person on your parenting team. Find a coach you can trust and will be a worthwhile partner with you.
A key benefit of working with Jill is the ability to gain a fresh, informed perspective on the challenges you face in dealing with anxiety, compulsion, perfectionism, scrupulosity, etc. Changing your mindset and worldview is challenging but can be done. Jill can help see new insights into your challenges, and also help you zero in on negative thought patterns and behaviors that stand in the way of your success. Â
