Are you here?

Are you really here right now?

What does it mean to be HERE?

It is awareness of your body and mind, focused on the present moment, not lost in thoughts, not rehashing the past or worrying about the future.

It’s not doing multiple things at once or being on auto-pilot.

It’s recognizing what is happening without judgement or criticism, without suppressing or attaching to it, without wishing it was different or seeking to change it.

There is no battle to fight or lose.

Stop everything just for 1 minute.

Close your eyes and breathe deeply feeling the breath coming in your nose and blowing slowly out your mouth.

You are here.

“It is in the present moment that life, peace, joy, happiness and well-being are possible. You are in the habit of running because you think happiness is impossible in the present, but life is accessible only in the present moment.” – “You Are Here” Thich Naht Hahn – nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by Martin Luther King Jr.

“The purpose of developing true presence is to make contact with everything that is beautiful, refreshing, and healing. We need that—we need the nourishment of a gorgeous sunset, a child’s smile, the song of a bird, the company of a friend. All of these things are precious, and we should be there to touch them.”

Thich Naht Hahn helps you reframe your thoughts and pains and helps you access the present moment so you don’t suffer as much.
